Fine furniture is timeless.

The design aesthetic 18th century masters used to create fine furniture is still the cornerstone of masterpieces created today. This concept is reflected in both an authentic reproduction bonnet top highboy and a contemporary design embellished by classic lines and elements.

Wayne Gardner Furniture and Design captures the creativity of the 18th century masters in every piece of furniture created. Time honored joinery techniques are utilized in construction to create a strong, stable and visually pleasing design. All carving of cabriole legs, ball and claw feet, sunbursts, shells and volutes is entirely by hand. Casework and drawers are hand dovetailed and all exposed surfaces are hand scraped prior to finish.

We carefully select lumber for each piece of furniture, using wide lumber whenever appropriate and matching drawer fronts and panels from the same flitch. When viewing our photos, please note how matching the lumber enhances the beauty of the furniture.

Our furniture is custom ordered and designed, and because of this the customer gets extensive input deciding wood type, figure, grain, color, finish, and hardware. In addition to making fine furniture, we also offer antique restoration and conservation services.
